In industrial facilities, factories, shopping malls, places of worship, schools, dormitories, hostels, cinemas, and hospitals, the entire electrical installation, including the assembly that controls and operates the electrical devices, encompasses both high and low current systems.

Electrical installations consist of the following components:

Electrical conduits,

High and low current cables,

Cable trays, cable ladders, and cable connections,

Switches and terminals,

Grounding cables, grounding conductors, grounding stakes and strips,

Electrical panels, main supply and control systems,

Junction boxes and terminals,

Connecting elements.

Who Should Perform Periodic Inspections of Electrical Installations?

Alfa Test, with its expert and adequately trained engineers, completes and reports on electrical installations, grounding systems, lightning protection systems, accumulators, transformers, residual current devices (RCDs), electrical circuits, thermal camera recordings, and similar electrical installation inspections in accordance with relevant TSE and international standards, aiming to prevent workplace accidents. Our independent personnel, acting as a third-party observer, report on the relevant parts of your installation according to their safety and safety standards.

Standards

Periodic Electrical Installation Inspections;

These inspections are carried out in accordance with the "Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment," published in the Official Gazette dated April 25, 2013, and numbered 28628, and are performed according to the relevant rules specified below:

* "Regulation on Grounding in Electrical Installations," published in the Official Gazette dated August 21, 2001, and numbered 24500. * "Regulation on High Voltage Electrical Installations" published in the Official Gazette dated 30/11/2000 and numbered 24246.

* "Regulation on Internal Electrical Installations" published in the Official Gazette dated 16/06/2004 and numbered 25494.

TS EN 60079 – TS EN 60439 – TS EN 61439 – TS EN 61557 – TS HD 60364-6 – TS 5141 EN 12954 – TS EN 13509 – TS EN 12817 – TS EN 12819 – TS EN 62305 standards.

Periodic inspections of electrical installations;” Unless otherwise specified in the standards related to the requirements of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment, periodic inspections should be carried out at the following intervals:

For Fixed Installations: At least once a year.

For Non-Fixed Installations: For fixed operating elements: At least once a year, For movable operating elements: At least once every 6 months.

Periodic Electrical Installation Inspections include the following items:

* Identification of all electrical elements such as fuses, switches, residual current devices (RCDs), and mains sockets.

* Residual current device (RCD) tests (Determination of tripping current (mA) and tripping time (ms)).

* Voltage drop measurements.

* Inspection and control of the current carrying capacity of the cables in the panels.

* Inspection of conductors in the panels. * Inspection of the panels' protection against external failures. * Inspection of single-line circuits in the panels. Checking updates and detailed explanations. *Checking electrical hazard and warning signs on panels. *Checking the labeling of equipment such as switches, fuses, and residual current devices on panels. *Checking the mechanical circuits of cables in panels and fuse boxes. *Checking the preservation of cable colors in panels and fuse boxes. *Checking the grounding and neutral bars on panels. *Checking that the grounding conductor has not been continuously moved to its endpoints. *Checking panels against external mechanical and temperature effects. *Grounding measurements and checks. *Loop impedance measurements. *Insulation measurements. *Temperature check with a thermal camera.
