1. Periodic Inspection of Fire Installations

 

In accordance with the Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings and the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment; periodic inspections of fire installations and hoses, motor pumps, and piping systems must be carried out at least once a year by authorized personnel, and a document certifying their safe operation must be issued. The main inspection criteria are:

 

Inspection of Water Tanks and Sources

Performance Checks of Fire Pumps

Inspections of Fire Cabinets and Internal Equipment

Inspection of Hydrant Systems

Inspection of Sprinkler Systems

PERIODIC INSPECTION CRITERIA: These are carried out to determine whether the system complies with the criteria specified in the project. Furthermore, inspections are carried out in accordance with the criteria specified in the following standards: TS 9811, TS EN 671-3, TS EN 12416-1 + A2, TS EN 12416-2 + A1, TS EN 12845, TS EN 671-1, TS EN 671-2, and TS EN 671-3. • How Often Should Periodic Inspections Be Performed?

 

Periodic inspections of fire extinguishing systems must be carried out at least once a year by authorized engineers or technicians.
